Mindscape has released LightSpeed 2.2. The product is an ORM for .NET that has nice integration with Visual Studio.

The Web Developer Tools Team has written a Quick-Start Guide to T4 Templates for ASP.NET MVC Developers.
Greg Duncan posted a link to a blog post by Neno Loje describing the availability of Visual Studio 2008 Project Templates for TFS Utilities. Handy for those extending TFS.
The US ISV Developer Evangelism Team announced the release of the Live Framework Tools January CTP.

The Windows SDK Team has announced the beta release of the Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.

- Updates for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 debugging and breakpoints
- Also applies to VS2005 – Workaround available for Child controls on a UserControl may get clipped in a system with a lower Font Dpi
- Patch available – You can access documents in a network location even if you do not provide logon credentials or if access is denied in Visual Studio Team System Web Access 2008
