by dstokes on January 27, 2009

My latest in a series of the weekly, or more often, summary of interesting links I come across related to Visual Studio.

Channel 9 Stuff:

Greg Duncan posted a link to the WiX documentation for the version that shipped with VSTS “Rosario” November CTP.

The Mindscape Blog has a link to a screencast on using the LightSpeed Visual Studio Designer with stored procedures.  It also demonstrates the same without using the designer.

The latest Code Cast episode is a discussion with Peter Provost, the Program Manager for VSTS Architecture Edition.

Daniel Moth has posted an explanation of PLINQ and how/why it works.

The VB Team posted an updated screensaver example.

Tess posted a walk-through of debugging a .NET Hang by way of analyzing Debug Diag output.

VS2005 KB:  Hotfix available for An application that uses the Mfc80.dll module or the Mfc80u.dll module crashes after you install a product that updates the module version.

Greg Duncan announced that version 3.1 of the Xceed Free WPF DataGrid has been released.
